Stanfords offers two services for those customers wishing to browse and download products direct from their own PC or MAC:

Icon Dtm 44421 Desktop Mapping allows direct access to our core large-scale Ordnance Survey map data products (1:1250/1:2500/1:10k Landplan).

 

Icon Geostore 44422 Stanfords GeoStore offers separate access to complimentary products such as Aerial photography data, 1m and 5m Height data and Ordnance Survey mid/small scale mapping (1:10k/1:25k/1:50k/1:250k).

1:50 000 Scale Colour Raster is Ordnance Survey's definitive raster product.

It represents a complete digital view of the popular Landranger® paper map series offering clear detail on roads, footpaths, woods, water features, important buildings and height contours. All topographic features are joined across sheet edges, providing seamless coverage of the entire country.

The data provides a comprehensive map base ideal for detailed work where street names are not required, such as environmental analysis.

OS 1:50k is fully compatible with other Ordnance Survey digital data products and can be purchased as site-centred customised sections either through our National Service Centre or direct from your own desktop through Stanfords GeoStore.
