Stanfords offers two services for those customers wishing to browse and download products direct from their own PC or MAC:

Icon Dtm 44421 Desktop Mapping allows direct access to our core large-scale Ordnance Survey map data products (1:1250/1:2500/1:10k Landplan).

 

Icon Geostore 44422 Stanfords GeoStore offers separate access to complimentary products such as Aerial photography data, 1m and 5m Height data and Ordnance Survey mid/small scale mapping (1:10k/1:25k/1:50k/1:250k).

Ordnance Survey (OS) Sitemap DXF Data is the most detailed and up to date digital mapping available anywhere in the U.K.

It covers the whole of Great Britain down to building level detail and is supplied at either 1:1250 or 1:2500 survey scale.The data has up to 60 layers of information allowing greater flexibility and it can be combined with other datasets for use in GIS.

The file itself is delivered in DXF (a vector file format supported by virtually all CAD products) and is available by e-mail on a same day delivery basis. Our Service Centre is able to convert the DXF into a DWG file for customers but this must be specified at the time of order.

Desktop Mapping customers are now able to take data as a polygon (as well as a square or rectangle) using a new cookie-cutting tool. This is designed to help reduce redundant data and therefore cost.

Furthermore all DXF data customers now have the option to purchase the data under a new Plan Design Build (PDB) license that allows much greater flexibility both in terms of length of usage and ability to archive.

This product can be ordered either through our Service Centre, or online or, for those customers wishing to browse the data first, direct from your Desktop through Desktop mapping.
