Lung Ta are a type of Himalayan Buddhist prayer flags, made of colorful panels of cloth which is traditionally woodblock-printed with texts and images. Prayer flags are commonly hung on lines between two objects along temples, monasteries and stupas, or along mountain ridges and peaks to bless the surrounding countryside.
Boudhanath (also called Bouddhanath, Bodhnath or Baudhanath or the Khāsa Caitya) is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu and one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal.
