Stanfords have teamed–up with specialist tour operator Journey Latin America to offer you four unique and exclusive events this February and March at Stanfords in Covent Garden Store. Receive expert advice and tips on travel to Central and South America and join us for two fascinating talks on three of South America’s last frontiers; Venezuela and the Guianas and Antarctica.

8 March 2012 – Specialist talk on Venezuela and the three Guianas (Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana) :

GuianasChris Parrott co-founder of Journey Latin America has been pioneering routes across South America since 1980. His latest trail-blazing expedition takes us through some of South America’s most difficult terrain. Learn about the highs and lows of travelling for three weeks through mostly virgin rainforest by public transport including a two-day canoeing adventure to the base of South America’s tallest water fall, the Angel Falls.
