8 March 2012 – Specialist talk on Venezuela and the three Guianas (Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana) :
Chris Parrott co-founder of Journey Latin America has been pioneering routes across South America since 1980. His latest trail-blazing expedition takes us through some of South America’s most difficult terrain. Learn about the highs and lows of travelling for three weeks through mostly virgin rainforest by public transport including a two-day canoeing adventure to the base of South America’s tallest water fall, the Angel Falls.
