Explore Robert Scott's epic Terra Nova expedition to Antarctica in a new exhibition at London’s Natural History Museum opening on January 20th 2012. Scott’s Last Expedition goes beyond the well-documented journey to the South Pole and the death of the Polar Party, to uncover everyday life in the base-camp hut. This exhibition reunites for the first time real objects used by Scott and his team together with the scientific specimens collected on the 1910–1913 expedition. Walk around a life-size representation of Scott’s base-camp hut, which still survives in Antarctica.
