Measuring a mighty 396x264cm (13’x8’8”) and based on a bestselling series of world maps often seen in home decoration magazines and in the background of some of the world's great film sets, this eight-sheet set is produced on thicker paper to be easily applied as wallpaper and includes wallpaper paste and instructions.

The mapping is an enlarged version of the Defence Mapping Agency series of physical world maps available in smaller sizes. The land is predominantly green and brown with altitude colouring, different shades representing different heights. The seas have bathymetric tinting showing the variations in the ocean depths, providing interesting information often not included on other maps. Selected shipping lanes are also shown.

The beauty of the design means that depending on where you are in the world, it can be assembled as Americas-, Europe- or Asia-centred. Map projection is Mercator.
