You needn't be an expert to give wildlife a second chance – it's something all of us can do. Wildlife Rescue is a unique and beautifully illustrated guide to the rescue and conservation of Britain's foxes, hedgehogs, badgers, bats rodents, garden and water birds, deer, amphibians and reptiles.
It is packed with information to interest both amateurs and experienced rescuers, including how to spot an emergency and how to deal with it safely, common hazards and illnesses affecting British wildlife, how to get involved with wildlife conservation locally and nationally, and contact details for rescue centres and hospitals nationwide. For rescuers of all ages, wildlife educators and veterinary staff.
Angela Wilkes is a journalist and active wildlife campaigner and founder member for Commons for Wildlife. She will be joined by Dave Pulley, a volunteer from the wildlife rescue centre Secret World, and he will be bringing some of his wildlife friends including Ben, a beautiful eagle owl.
Both will be available to advise and answer any wildlife questions you may have.
This is a FREE event at Stanfords in Bristol and runs in-store from 10.30am til 12.30pm
