Join Barb Drummond, local historian and publisher, on an insightful walk around the Castle Park area of Bristol.
Making use of old maps and illustrations, she will explain what remains of the oldest part of Bristol and the changes this area has seen.
Barb is the author of a number of pamphlets on self-guided walks around the heart of Bristol including '13 Fascinating Walks in Central Bristol', 'The Bristol Slavery and Abolition Trail' and 'Bristol's Religious Heritage'.
The walk will set off promptly from Stanfords at 6pm and will take place rain or shine, so remember to bring an umbrella! Barb will be happy to answer questions over a glass or two of wine in the shop afterwards.
