Join this sponsored challenge for all the family searching for Santa’s elves. Take in the West End’s festive lights and sights while raising money for Christian Aid.
Starting and finishing at St James, Piccadilly, you must find Santa’s elves who will be hiding in some great West End stores – one of which will be Stanfords – and venues. Collect six gold coins from the elves to exchange for a Fairtrade prize!
See famous places like Fortnum & Masons, Somerset House, Hamleys, Selfridges and of course Stanfords, along the way, enjoying the fantastic shop windows and Christmas illuminations. And, while you’re having a great time, raise money for Christian Aid.
How long is the treasure hunt?
That’s up to you! You’ll be given you a map showing you the stores, shops and famous places where the elves are hiding. Most of these are within walking distance of St James, but of course, you could use buses and tubes (although these aren’t very wheelchair or buggy friendly). However you choose to get around, don’t forget to find the elves, collect at least six gold coins and win your Fairtrade prize!
When and where does it start?
The base will be St James, Piccadilly, where you’ll find a friendly welcome. You can
start anytime from 2pm and will need to finish back at St James by 5.30pm.

What will my sponsorship money be used for?
All the money raised will be used to support Christian Aid’s overseas partners who tackle poverty and its causes in nearly 50 of the world’s poorest countries.
