One of the titles in a series of topographic survey maps from the Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya, providing an alternative to the two surveys, civilian and military, produced for the whole of Spain. The Catalan series not only covers a much larger area per sheet than the maps from the national survey, but also has more colourful, very elegant and clear cartography with contours at 20m intervals, hill shading and fine graphics to portray the relief, landmarks, terrain, and vegetation types. Local hiking paths are shown and an overprint highlights long-distance GR routes. Mountain refuges and campsites are marked, as well as national parks and various reserves. The maps have a 5km UTM grid, with latitude and longitude values shown for the corners. Map legend is in Catalan only.
