This map is printed on durable water-proof paper and protected by a waterproof folder.

The main map is at 1:7,900 and covers the central portion of Athens from Profitis district in the south-east to Thissio in the west and Areos in the north. On the reverse is a larger scale plan of the Palka and Monastiraki districts, including the Acropolis region. There is also a street plan of Pireas at 1:16,000 and a small plan of part of the Kifissia district. A general road map of the whole city shows these selected regions, the main roads and the metro lines.

A list of recommended venues for shopping, entertainment, eating and drinking are cross-referenced to colour-coded map locations, and the map is also indexed for the main cultural sites, notable buildings and hotels. In addition to such details, the maps also show car parks, one-way streets, tourist information offices, police stations, hospitals, railway stations, funiculars, bus & tram routes, Metro network.

The map is indexed for streets and includes a chart presenting opening times of main attractions and places of interest.

Places not to miss in Athens are highlighted on the inside of the folder, which also shows a section of the city centre for quick reference.
