Handy-size, 19x26cm, spiral-bound road atlas of Australia, describing 100 top routes for exploring the country by motorbike. The opening section provides general tips, including the choice of luggage and emergency supplies, plus lists facilities available in national and state parks (camping, bush camping, drinking water etc.).

The main section, arranged by state, provides descriptions of 100 best routes, chosen by Peter Thoeming, a leading Australian motorcycling writer. Each description is illustrated with colour photos and cross-referenced to the maps.

The last section is a road atlas, presenting each state in a series of maps overprinted with the routes. The maps indicate locations of fuel supplies, rest areas, picnic sites, camping areas, and various places of interest. Scales vary according to the size of the area covered by the map. Also included are street plans of the central part of each state’s main city.
