This comprehensive map is printed on durable water-proof paper and protected by a waterproof folder. The main map is at approximatley 1:10,000 and covers a large area of Barcelona from the coast - between Castell de Montjuic and Parc del Poblenou - to the Gracia district about 4km inland. On the reverse side are enlarged scale plans of the old city centre and the streets around Carrer Gran de Gracia, in the Gracia district. Another map at a much smaller scale provides an overview of the metro network in the city.

A list of recommended venues for shopping, entertainment, eating and drinking are cross-referenced to colour-coded map locations, and the map is also indexed for the main cultural sites & notable buildings. In addition to such details, the maps also show car parks, one-way streets, tourist information offices, hospitals, railway stations, taxi ranks, bus and tram routes, metro lines and stations.
The map is indexed for streets and includes a chart presenting opening times of main attractions and places of interest.

Twenty places not to miss in the city are highlighted on the inside of the folder, which also shows a section of the city centre for quick reference.
