Barcelona on a laminated, tear-resistant Insight Flexi Map with an indexed street plan of the city, an enlargement for the Old Town, a road map of the environs, a diagram of the metro network and extensive tourist information.

The main plan covers the city’s central districts, extending out to include the Camp Nou football ground and the University campus. A separate, more detailed enlargement at 1:7,000 covers the Old City. The plans clearly show metro stations, one way streets and car parks. Main public buildings, places of interest and selected hotels are prominently highlighted and named. Both plans are indexed for streets, points of interest, public buildings and hotels. Also provided is a diagram of Barcelona’s metro network.

The environs of the city are covered by an indexed road map at 1:120,000, highlighting numerous places of interest.

A special feature of the Insight Flexi series are panels with additional tourist information:

• 25 main sights, neatly grouped into sections covering Major Attractions, Museums and Galleries, Shopping Areas and Markets, or Further Afield, are given brief descriptions and are prominently highlighted on the relevant maps.

• Further panels provide information on Getting Around and Facts for Visitors, including tourist information offices, public holidays, opening times, money, tipping, telephones and monthly climate charts.
