The Bavaria boasts a matte silk surface with a panorama dual-map-system: political cartography is highlighted with the light on, whilst physical topography is more pronounced with the light off. The mapping and globe are merged by using a special process ensuring that detachment of the map-surface from the globe cannot occur.
