The AA City Map & Mini Guide to Beijing is a laminated, indexed street plan of Beijing’s city centre at approximately 1:17,500 scale. The map also includes information on top tourist attractions and sights, listings of top restaurants, tips on shopping & entertainment venues, and city transport information.

Streets are clearly marked and named, with major, secondary and smaller roads highlighted. Pedestrian pathways are also shown. Parks, lakes, railway stations and major public buildings are shaded, and principal sights are clearly marked and named. Other sights of tourist interest, such as temples and monuments, are shown with symbols, as are post offices, tourist information centres and city metro stations.

The map covers an area of approximately 8.5km (west-east) x 7km (north-south), centred on Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City. The multi-lingual legend includes English.
