Double-sided map of Belgium showing the country’s network of long-distance cycle routes: LF routes in Flanders and RV routes in Wallonia, including old railway lines suitable for cycling, with youth hostels and other accommodation.
The base is detailed 1:250,000 topographic survey map of the country, with contours at 50m intervals and colouring indicating wooded areas. The overprint highlights long-distance cycling routes and disused railway lines suitable for cycling. Symbols mark locations of youth hostels, Friends of Nature houses, b&bs and shelters.
The overprint extends beyond Belgium’s borders to the neighbouring areas of the Netherlands (up to s’Hertogenbosch) and Germany (to Krefeld and Düren in the Eifel), but not in France.
The map has margin ticks at intervals of 1’. Map legend includes English but explanation of the overprint is in Dutch and French only. The map is also overprinted with a grid for Belgium’s 1:50,000 topographic survey.
A separate leaflet, in Dutch and French only, provides information on waymarking, etc.
