Hardback, 357-page, topographic atlas of Belgium at 1:50,000, printed on high quality paper. The maps have contours at intervals varying according to the terrain: from 2.5m in the coastal areas to 10m in the Ardennes. In addition to detailed classification of the road and rail networks and the usual geographical information presented in topographic mapping at this scale, the atlas also provides information on land use. Margin ticks show latitude and longitude at intervals of 1' and the Belgian Lambert projection coordinate values at 1km intervals. Map legend is in Dutch, French and German. An extensive index of localities lists coordinates for all the locations.

The atlas includes an introductory section on mapping the country and notes on various aspects of cartography and map use, with the text in French and Dutch only.
