The Michelin National road map of Benelux (Belgium, Luxembourg & the Netherlands) at 1:400,000 scale is ideal for trip & route planning and touring. The map gives comprehensive coverage of national road networks showing all major motorways, dual carriageways, national & regional main roads and some smaller local roads. Also shows unsurfaced roads and tracks & some footpaths. A grid showing latitude and longitude divides the map. Steep gradients, toll sections & prohibited roads are indicated.
Distances between locations are marked along roads, with total distance and several intermediate distances shown. A quick-reference chart of driving times & distances between major locations is also included. The map has a grid-referenced index of principal place names.
Clear, easy-to read cartography shows roads in reds, yellows and white with black outlines. Woodland & forest is marked with green shading, and built-up urban areas are highlighted in salmon pink. Airports, ferries, tramways & railways are also marked. National boundaries and administrative divisions are clearly marked.
Plenty of tourist information is given: Principal sights listed in the Michelin Green Guide are highlighted in bold with a symbol, locations with entries in the Michelin Red Guide are underlined in red, and the areas covered by high-scale town plans in the Red Guide are outlined in red. Symbols denote sights of interest such as historic houses & castles, ruins & prehistoric monuments. National forests & parks, scenic driving routes and viewpoints & panoramas are also shown. Recreation & leisure facilities such as golf courses, racetracks and even zoos are denoted, as are youth hostels & camping sites.
Also includes a quick reference panel giving national driving regulations, including speed limits, equipment requirements (e.g. bulb kits, warning triangles) and seatbelt rules, for Belgium, Luxembourg & the Netherlands. A small continental connections map is also given, showing driving distances from the five major cities on the map to almost 50 major European cities.

- Luxembourg at 1:50,000
