Besançon in the Footsteps of Vauban Mini Map presents two aspects of the city. On one side is an extract from IGN’s topographic survey at 1:25,000 covering the city and its environs, overprinted with hiking routes including the Ceinture de Besançon circuit and the local section of Via Francigena. Also marked is the course of the EuroVelo 6 cycle route along the Doubs.

On the reverse is a panorama plan of the city highlighting its main sites. The overprint shows four sightseeing routes, with special reference to the buildings and fortifications built by Vauban.

Map legend and all the descriptions of the sightseeing routes include English.
