Colourful map with enlargements for all tourist destinations. On one side a general road map of the country has reserves, national parks, and wildlife management areas clearly marked. Road information indicates different types of roads, with intermediate driving distances for all except 4x4 tracks, plus filling and service stations. The map also shows railways, district boundaries, significant hills, marsh areas, pans and seasonal rivers, airfields and airports, campsites, lodges, hotels and sites of interest. Border crossing posts are named and opening times are stated. Insets show the Gaborone area and the Makgadikgadi Pans in greater detail.

On the reverse there a numerous enlargements for all the main national parks and games reverves, including a map at 750K, based on an aerial image, of the Okavango Delta/Moremi/Chobe area. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn on the main map and on most of the enlargements, and GPS coordinates are listed for all the main touring routes and border posts. Also included is a panel with "Fingertip Facts about Botswana".
