One of the titles in a series of touring maps of the Canadian provinces with the road network presented on a white base with colouring for national parks and other protected areas, but with little indication of the topography beyond spot heights, to make minor roads more visible. Road classification and information on places of interest, although much clearer to read, is in most titles less detailed than on the corresponding maps in the MapArt series. Railway lines are not included. The main map in each title is indexed, and is supplemented by insets with American style street plans of various local towns.

In this title: the two provinces together, with the mapping the same as in the individual maps and just reduced to 1:2,000,000. On the reverse there are enlargements for Fraser Valley (1:250,000), Saanich Peninsula (1:170,000), Calgary and Edmonton (1:125,000), plus plans at scales of 1:50,000 to 1:80,000 of central Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Kamloops, Kelowna, Banff, Lethbridge and Red Dear. Also included is a distance chart.
