A good dense scatter of place names are shown on this 86x124cm map, with the towns classified by population size. Motorways and A roads are clearly shown (A roads are not all numbered). The map is coloured in shades of green and brown to show highland and lowland, and county names are shown in grey (with county boundaries faintly). The map shows England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with the Republic of Ireland shown in an inset. There is also an enlarged inset of Greater London, a distance table, an explanation of the main road signs, and a list of telephone numbers for railway companies, ferries and airports.
Encapsulated in plastic to give a write-on, wipe-off surface.
