Rough Guide map of Brussels comprehensive map is printed on durable water-proof paper and protected by a waterproof folder. The main map, centred on the Europeen Quarter, is at approx 1:9,700 and extends to Park de Forest in the southwest, Gare du Nord in the north and Cimetiere de St-Josse in the east. On the reverse, coverage is extended southwards to reach the Universite de Libre Bruxellesa and a small inset shows the Parc de Leaken / Parc d' Osseghem area. A larger scale plan shows the city centre with greater clarity. A general map of the city and surroundings shows the main roads, railways and metro network.

A list of recommended venues for shopping, entertainment, eating and drinking are cross-referenced to colour-coded map locations, and the map is also indexed for the main cultural sites, parks, notable buildings and hotels. In addition to such details, the maps also show car parks, one-way streets, tourist information offices, police stations, hospitals, railway stations, bus & tram routes, the Metro network and taxi ranks.

The map is indexed for streets and includes a chart presenting opening times of main attractions and places of interest.

Twenty places not to miss in Brussels are highlighted on the inside of the folder, which also shows a section of the city centre for quick reference.
