On the reverse is an indexed map at 1:2,200,000 of Argentina north of Buenos Aires, extending over to the Chilean coast and Santiago and covering most of Uruguay. The map shows the road and rail networks, local airports and landing grounds, and administrative boundaries with names of provinces. National parks and protected areas marked and places of interest are highlighted. Topography is shown by altitude colouring with spot heights. The map has a grid with latitude and longitude at 1º.
