On one side is a street plan of the city, with symbols highlighting various places of interest and numerous facilities, everything from hotels, restaurants and cafes to markets, department stores, airline offices, car repair workshops and "marriage registry houses”. The plan also shows public transport bus and trolleybus lines with stops.

On the reverse is an enlargement of the town’s historic centre, highlighting its mosques and other monuments. The plans have an index of streets and of various facilities marked on the main plan.

A contoured map of the Bukhara province and the neighbouring areas of the Navoi province shows local roads and railways with stops. Various places of interest are highlighted. Also included are noted on the city’s history. Map legend and all the text are in English.
