Indexed, waterproof and tear-resistant road map of Cambodia with topographic and tourist information, including street plans of central Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, plus an enlargement for the Angkor area. The map, published by Reise Know-How as part of their highly acclaimed World Mapping Project, is double-sided to provide the best balance between a good scale and a convenient size sheet.

Road and rail networks are easy to see on a clear base which presents topography by altitude colouring with spot heights, names of mountain ranges, seasonal rivers and marshes. Road network indicates local tracks, gives driving distances on main routes and indicates border crossings. Internal administrative boundaries are shown with names of the provinces.

The map highlights nature reserves, protected areas and elephant parks.
Symbols mark various places of interest, including numerous temples and archaeological remains, palaces, viewpoints, beaches, scuba diving and snorkeling sites, etc. The map has a grid with latitude and longitude at intervals of 30’ and an index of localities. Map legend includes English.

Also included are plans of central Phnom Penh and Siem Reap showing accommodation, places of interest and various facilities. An enlargement at 1:150,000 shows the area around Siem Reap, including Angkor Wat, Angkor Thum and the surrounding temples, extending south to Boeng Tonle Sab Lake.

”World Mapping Project” is an extensive series of maps at varying scales, aiming to provide coverage of countries and regions worldwide using clear, well presented cartography with both topographic and tourist information. Some titles in this series have been published in Britain by Rough Guides with the same original cartography and are listed on our website only under that imprint. Some elements of the cartography e.g. minor roads and contours are printed relatively faintly compared with other information such as major roads. Although clearly legible on the map, the lower contrast of these details has made them less obvious on the reproduction of the cartography presented here.
