Laminated and waterproof, indexed map of Canada with insets showing the environs of 15 main cities and panels providing facts and figures about its provinces. On one side is a general map of the whole country with an inset extending it northwards right to the very top of the Ellesmere Island. Along the Atlantic coast coverage extends southwards to New York and Philadelphia.

The map shows the country’s network of major roads and railways, including the route of the Trans-Canada Highway and toll roads. In coastal areas main ferry connections are marked. The map shows both the provincial boundaries and time zones. National parks are marked and places of interest highlighted.

The reverse side is filled by insets with maps at mainly 1:250,000 showing environs of each province’s main cities: Vancouver and Victoria in British Columbia, Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta, Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Ottawa and Toronto in Ontario, Quebec City and Montreal in Quebec, and the main cities of the Atlantic Provinces: Halifax, Fredericton, Charlottetown and St. John’s.

Panels show the flags of each province and provide various facts and figures, from area and populations to official flower and tree, as well as contact addresses of their tourist offices. There is also a distance table for the whole country and a list of its national and other major parks.
