The Cape York - CD-ROM offers Hema's popular Cape York paper map at 1:1,000,000 (with an enlargement of "The Tip" at 1:250,000) in a format ready for use with your PC or GPS tracking software, plus all the text and photos from the original map in an easy-to-use webpage format. The CD-ROM map is packed with facility information, GPS waypoints and tourist points of interest to make your trip to the Cape the best possible.

The CD-ROM comes complete with OziExplorer Lite map viewer and latitude/longitude positioning and all maps or map excerpts are easily printable.

The diversity of the graphic tools makes it possible to calculate route distances, and bearings as well as latitude and longitude or AMG waypoint positions. It is also possible to enter individual routes or add personal data (both graphic and text) to a map, search for all displayed place names, or highlight points of interest (including fuel and camping locations), routes and sites.

The DVD is compatible with Windows and most GPS.
