The road detail includes secondary roads and some tracks, and indicates intermediate distances on many routes. Main railways and shipping routes are marked, also airports, ports and cableways. National parks and regional administrative boundaries are shown and symbols depict landmarks and places of tourist interest eg. mosques, churches, antiquities, monuments, campsites, spas, beaches and winter sport resorts, Terrain features such as glaciers, salt lakes, lava flows and sandy areas are also shown. High passes and peak altitudes are marked. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals. The multilingual legend includes English and cyrillic script. Index on the the reverse.

The whole of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are included, along with Dagestan, Chechenia, Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkessia and all the north side of the Caucasus as far north as Stavropol and Krasnodar. The Russian Black Sea coast is shown as far west as Novorossisk, also the Turkish coast east of Ordu.
