Series of 11 topographic map sheets covering Kyrgizstan and surroundings - including Almaty, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Tashkent, Samarkand, Chimkent.
Relief is portrayed by elevation tinting, 100m contours & spot heights. Other details: forests, cliffs, sand, mudflats, rivers, seasonal watercourses, built-up areas, oil installations and other industrial buildings. Communication detail includes railways, minor roads and tracks. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30' intervals.
These maps are derived from Russian maps. Place names have been transliterated. A list of abbreviations is provided on each map.
