One of the titles in a series of touring and trekking maps of Chile and the neighbouring regions of Argentina. This title provides coverage of the Argentinian side, from El Chalten north to Laguna del Diablo and south to Lago Viedma, and westwards to the glaciers of Viedma and Campo de Hielo Sur, including Monte Fitz Roy. The map has contours at 25m intervals, relief shading, spot heights and bold colouring to indicate glaciers and vegetation. Local dirt tracks and paths are marked, but without being annotated with hiking times. Symbols highlight accommodation, campsites, and view points. The map has a grid with latitude/longitude at 2’, plus UTM margin ticks. Map legend includes English.

On the reverse is a more general road map of the surrounding area, a panorama drawing of the main peaks, and extensive text in Spanish and English describing various aspects of the region.
