Plans and guides to the archeological sites, nearby accommodation facilities and local towns around the Chichen Itza Mayan remains in the heart of Yucatan. This is not a conventional road map or a street plan, but a series of insets and panels presented around an outline map showing access to the area from Cancun and Tulum on the Riviera Maya coast.

On one side is a detailed plan of the archeological site at Chichen Itza and the adjoining hotel zone, annotated with descriptions, opening times, and other practical information. A plan of nearby town of Piste provides details of hotels, restaurants, public transport and taxi access to the site, etc.

On the reverse is a street plan of Valladolid, annotated with descriptions of main places of interest and details of various facilities. Also included are plans of the Coba and Ek Balam archaeological sites, again with descriptions and information on accommodation, etc. A special panel shows caves and cenotes in the area between Valladollid and Chichen Itza.
