Huayhuash on the reverse. Relief is depicted by hill shading, with altitudes stated for many peaks. The detail includes paved & unpaved roads, railways, tracks & trekking routes, rivers & lakes. Additional symbols highlight ruins, churches, thermal baths, museums and locations with “all services” for tourists. The map shows latitude and longitude lines at 10' intervals and the legend is in English and Spanish. Some brief background information - also bilingual - for visitors is provided in the margins, covering such topics as excursions, trekking and local highlights.
