Double sided, indexed road map on durable, waterproof paper. The country is presented as east and west sections with a generous overlap, and the coverage includes some of the southern Bahamas. The map combines clear road and tourist detail with relief indicated by contours, altitude tinting, and spot heights. Bathymetric tinting is also applied. Road detail classification includes dirt roads, intermediate driving distances are shown on many routes, and symbols indicate toll roads and petrol stations. Railways and major ferry links are shown, and symbols depict harbours, airports and airfields. Reefs, swamps and mangroves are indicated, also regional boundaries and names. National parks and reserves are marked, and a further range of symbols shows campsites, antiquities, lighthouses, harbours, beaches, viewpoints, watersport sites and places of interest. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30’ intervals, and the map legend is in English only. Indexed for place names.

Although clearly legible on the map, the lower contrast of these details may make them appear less obvious on the reproduction of the cartography presented here.
