Indexed road map on durable, waterproof paper. The map combines clear road and tourist detail with relief indicated by contours, altitude tinting, and spot heights. Generalized bathymetric tinting is also applied. Road detail classification includes tracks and paths, and intermediate driving distances are shown on main routes. Railways and major ferry links are shown, and symbols depict airports and airfields. Swamps, reefs, seasonal water courses and nature reserves/national parks are also shown, and administrative region borders and names are marked. A range of symbols shows high passes, viewpoints, archaelogical sites, castles, lighthouses, beaches, golf courses, diving and fishing sites and places of interest. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30’ intervals, and the map legend is in English only. Indexed for place names.

This is one of the maps published under the auspices of Reise Know-How Verlag’s World Mapping Project, some titles from which are published by Rough Guides, using the same original cartography. We hold as regular stock all the titles in the Rough Guide edition, and the remaining titles are listed on our website in the original Reise Know-How version.

Although clearly legible on the map, the lower contrast of these details may make them appear less obvious on the reproduction of the cartography presented here.
