Dubai on a large double-sided map which combines a detailed plan of the centre with a wider coverage of the city’s various planned development zones, both indexed, plus a map of the inland area.

On one side is a plan at 1:40,000 covering an area from the border with Sharjah to the port area, extended on the reverse side to include Palm Jebel Ali and planned conservation zones and waterfront developments beyond it. Coverage of the interior extends beyond the construction area of Dubailand to the Minhad Military Airport. The map shows the area’s road network and gives names of various neighbourhoods and new developments, under construction or planned. The map has no geographical coordinates.

On the reverse a large plan at 1:10,000 shows central Dubai in greater detail, indicating various facilities including hotels, shopping centres, museums, health clinics, etc. The main map and the city centre enlargement each have a separate index. All place names are in Roman alphabet only and, where appropriate, in English. Multilingual map legend includes English and Arabic.

Also included is an inset at 1:250,000 extending coverage further into the interior.
