Tourist maps covering a selection of France’s administrative departments, produced by the Institut Géographique National in collaboration with the local authorities to highlight different types of accommodation, centres of local produce and handicraft, places of interest, various leisure and sport facilities, as well as local footpaths, the GR routes, etc. Each map has the same number as the department, corresponding to the first two digits of its postal code.

Please note:
Institute Géographique National also publishes several other series of detailed road maps and recreational maps of France for hiking and various outdoor activities, all listed on our website.

  IGN is renowned for their excellent series of 3-D plastic maps, covering all but the flattest parts of France, from Brittany, Normandy or the Paris region to a truly spectacular map of the Mont Blanc massif. Popular areas such as the Alps, the Pyrenees or Provence are covered at a variety of scales. These superb maps can be a beautiful decoration, an excellent educational aid or an unusual reminder of an interesting holiday. Unfortunately, due to frequent damage in transit to our customers, we are unable to offer these maps on our website.
