One of the titles in a series of waterproof and tear resistant, double-sided topographic maps published by Netherlands’ main motoring and touring organization. The cartography is identical to the 1:50,000 topographic survey of the country, but with cycle paths highlighted. Relief is shown by contours at 5m intervals, spot heights and, in the areas below the sea level, “spot depths”. Colours distinguish several types of landscape and land use e.g. sand, forest, orchard, heath, etc. The maps also indicate ANWB’s “paddestoelen” (mushrooms) - numbered roadside markers placed at crossroads of country roads to assist navigating. A 1km grid is printed over the map and latitude and longitude values are stated for the map corners. Map legend is in Dutch only.
