Double-sided tourist map with clear uncluttered cartography, covering the region from Robertson in the Western Cape to Port Elizabeth in the east. Road detail includes driving distances, toll routes, tourist routes, and some minor unsurfaced roads. Local rail connections are also shown. Nature reserves are clearly marked and symbols depict various points of interest, historic sites, vineyards, etc. Places along the route are annotated with list of main attractions and contact details for further tourist information. Latitude and longitude are shown in the margins at 15’ intervals.

Several insets provide street plans of local towns: Montagu, Barrydale, Ladismith, Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, George, Jeffreys Bay, Plettenberg Bay, Humansdoorp and the whole of the Knysna Lagoon area. These show local facilities and attractions, including accommodation, caravan parks, post offices, police stations, hospitals, and recreational facilities: surfing, whale watching, diving spots, etc.
