Intermediate driving distances between selected points are shown on the map, and where a road meets an edge of the map, the distance to the next town is stated in the margin. Ferries, airports, airfields, railways, and steep road inclines are also marked. Selected castles, ruins, churches and other places of interest are marked with symbols, and restricted areas, national/nature parks, and towns of interest are clearly highlighted. An impression of the relief is provided by hill shading and peak heights are stated for selected mountains. Latitude & longitude lines are not marked. The map index is in an attached booklet.
