Based on the OS Explorer map series, these CDs also include aerial photography (except titles for Scottish regions), a 1:250,000 GB road map and a database of 250,000 place names and map features.

This new upgraded Version 5 software offers extensive GPS support and allows the user to plan routes, plot routes and waypoints, print multi-page maps, generate hill-profiles and fly-through 3D terrain models and add extra information eg. notes & photos. You can import tracks from a GPS to see exactly where you've been, and review your speed and distance covered. You can even monitor your heart rate along the way.
Maps can be printed, with the option of showing 3D-effect relief. Printing can be customised to produces pages accommodating map extracts for long routes It is also possible to print your own fully detailed route card with waypoints, compass bearings, distances and grid coordinates and add personal notes, photos and hill profiles.

Pocket PC: Microsoft Pocket PC 2000 or Windows Mobile for Pocket PC 2002 or later with ActiveSync connection. 16Mb RAM. Additional storage card recommended.

GPS: Garmin, Magellan, Navman, Silva, Suunto or NMEA/SiRF compatible. Some GPS units do not support all mark, route, track and heart rate features - check with your GPS supplier.
