Large, double-sided, indexed road map at a very legible scale of presentation. It seems that the map has been largely prepared from the same database as the map published by Rough Guides, differing mainly in the presentation of the relief: here with hill shading rather than elevation colouring. An extra element is the inclusion of Lighthouse Reef (east of Turneffe Islands) in a small inset. Road detail includes tracks and paths and also shows intermediate driving distances on many routes, including some minor roads. Main railways and sea ferry routes are included and airports and airfields are indicated.

A range of symbols depicts a variety of tourism features and landmarks: archaeological sites, UNESCO world heritage sites and other places of interest, beaches, lighthouses, caves, high passes and border crossings. Reserves and national parks are marked, many Caribbean cayes are named, and administrative region boundaries and names are shown. Swamp areas and reefs are also indicated. Longitude and latitude lines are drawn at 30’ intervals. The map is indexed for place names. The multilingual map legend includes English.
