The main map covers the Gulf of Naples from Monte di Prócida & the Parco dei Campi Flegrei to the Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi. All of Vesuvius is included and the northern limit of the sheet is Casavatore, 6km north of Naples harbour. Capri is also included, and Ischia & Prócida are presented in an inset.
The clear cartography includes minor roads, railways & funiculars, with hiking trails and scenic routes highlighted. Relief is represented by contours, hill shading and spot heights, although no contour values are given! Lava flows and their dates are indicated on Vesuvius.
Intermediate driving distances are marked on the map and symbols represent airports, harbours & ferries and tourist features eg. marinas, spas, monuments, archeological sites & campsites. The map legend includes English.
Margin ticks show latitude at 12' intervals & longitude at 5' intervals.

On the reverse are enlargements of the islands of Ischia and Capri, although they convey no additional detail. There are also simple street plans of Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi, Ischia Ponte, Pompeii and the centre of Naples. nb. None of these are indexed.
