The most comprehensive atlas of Iceland ever made. The whole country, from the highest mountains to the coasts and islands, is shown on 132 large maps at 1:100 000. Relief is very effectively portrayed by hill-shading contours and spot heights, and additional colours present the terrain variations eg. lava, vegetation, glacier. Latitude and longitude margin ticks are at 5' and 10' intervals respectively. The index covers 43,000 locations.

The mapping is preceeded by four chapters dealing with Iceland's map history, geology, glacial history and vegetation. All text is in Icelandic. 208 pages.
