Istanbul: European Side Street Atlas is a detailed, indexed street atlas at 1:7,500 from Mepmedya, with route-planning maps for the wider area and background tourist information. Legend in Turkish, English and German.

Motorways, secondary roads, minor roads and many streets are shown, with names and/or numbers. Railway and metro lines and stations, and the cable car network are marked, as are harbours, ferry terminals and ferry routes. Bus stops and stations are also displayed.

The mapping is annotated with numerous places of interest. These include: historic buildings, museums, theatres, cinemas, shopping centres and Turkish baths; official buildings, emergency services, post offices, libraries, schools and universities; filling stations and car parks; parks and sports facilities; and places of worship. Town, district and sub-district boundaries are delineated.

The atlas is organised by administrative district, beginning with an overview map of each of the districts (scale varies) and an indication of page numbers for the street mapping which follows. Each section is colour-coded for ease of navigation. The street mapping deals only with urban areas in more sparsely populated districts.

Includes the following districts within the European side of Istanbul Province: Avcilar, Bagcilar, Bahcelievler, Bakirkoy, Bayrampasa, Besiktas, Beyoglu, Buyukcekmece, Catalca, Eminonu, Esenler, Eyup, Fatih, Gaziosmanpasa, Gungoren, Kagithane, Kucukcekmece, Sariyer, Silivri, Sisli and Zeytinburnu.

A large index lists street names and numbers by district.

• A route planning map for the whole of Istanbul Province (European and Anatolian sides) at 1:500,000, showing main transport routes, districts, and figures for district surface areas and population sizes.

• An enlarged approach map for the Istanbul area (mainly European side) at 1:140,000, showing localities, suburbs, main approaches by road and rail, the Ataturk International Airport, and ports and harbours.

• 28 pages of tourist information for the area, focusing on important monuments, buildings, museums, historic sites, parks and resorts (text in Turkish, English and German).

• A list of important telephone numbers.
