A road atlas of Japan at 1:250,000, with the exception of Hokkaido which is at 1:600,000. Road detail is clearly drawn and distinguishes national expressways, highways, main roads, toll roads and secondary roads. On all but the last type, intermediate driving distances are marked. Small insets are used to show selected junctions with greater clarity. Intersection names, road congestion/closure notes, toll fees and distances from major cities are indicated. Other communications details include railways, ferry routes and airports. Administrative boundaries are marked (not prominently) and symbols show such features as scenic areas, blossom viewing spots, golf courses, skiing areas, shrine, temples and other places of interest.

There are 12 pages of city area road maps at 1:125,000, also a 2-page map of central Tokyo at 1:30,000. There are also 11 maps at 1:100,000 of selected tourist locations. All names are in roman script, and expressway junctions and some locations are in Japanese script as well. Map legend is in English only. Toll fee tables are included. 271 pages.
