One of two large double-sided maps of the French and the Swiss Jura, each covering an area of approximately 120 x 35 km. The maps have a topographic base: on the French side with contours at 20m intervals and in Switzerland at 50m, where the mapping is an enlargement of IGN’s maps produced at 1:100,000. An overprint highlights ski routes, indicating various degrees of difficulty, including the two long-distance routes: GTJ - Grande Traversée du Jura in France and TJS - Traversée Jura Suisse. Symbols highlight facilities available in local villages and various places of interest. The maps have no geographical coordinates. Map legend is in French only. Also included are lists of useful contact addresses.

This title is part of a series of maps for hiking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits published by the IGN in cooperation with local authorities, ramblers' associations, cycling clubs, etc. The maps are designed to provide information on places of interest, recreational facilities, various types of accommodation, local and long-distance footpaths, bridleways, cycling and mountain bike routes, etc.
