Waterproof and tear-resistant, double-sided map, dividing the country north/south along the equator, with generous overlap on both sides. Bright altitude colouring, contours at 500m intervals, and spot heights show the topography, with many other geographical features also marked: lava fields, caves, hot springs, wetlands and marches, dry lakes and salt flats, areas of seasonal inundation, wells and waterfalls, coral reefs, etc. Road information includes unsurfaced tracks and location of petrol stations. Railways and local aerodromes, as well as hospitals/medical facilities, post offices, bus stations, missions and other religious establishments, etc. are also shown.

Extensive tourist information includes national parks and game reserves, indicating where appropriate entry gates, special UNESCO sites, beaches, museums, archaeological sites, etc., as well as numerous rest houses and lodges, campsites, and hotels. The maps has an index of place names and shows latitude and longitude at 1º intervals. While the map extends to both north-eastern Tanzania and Uganda, coverage of these areas is less detailed than within Kenya itself.
