Each guide offers a selection of day walks of different length and difficulty of terrain, with descriptions providing information on various places of interest along the routes and directions for special points marked on the accompanying maps. All the text is in French, but there is also a fair amount of information conveyed by symbols: waymarking, parking facilities, villages with local shops, cafes and restaurants, etc.
